Komputer Menangis

I asked him if he had any (updated) antivirus since last year but to no avail. Few months ago, he had this Trend Micro installed in my PC..without consulting me first. Tapi takperlah, what's the worse that could happen?

All's well that ends well...that's what I thought.. But no! Since it required online scanning...it tend to get my cpu fully 'consumed' + firefox will hang due to the buffer overflow.. At that time, i would just get it to "scan later", but since the antivirus had expired (lately), it would scan whenever it wanted to, and would upgrade the antivirus however it was pleased with. In short, I, AS THE SOLE OWNER OF THIS PC, HAD NO AUTHORITY WHATSOEVER ANYMORE, TO CHANGE OR DELETE OR EVEN TOUCH THE ANTIVIRUS ANYMORE!

Hehe...caps lock..Orang cakap kalau type guna caps lock tuh tengah marah...so tengah marah lerr nih. Ive tried to delete it the usual way, from the control panel, but it required some kind of password before it can be removed. Ive tried to hack it manually from the reg key (regedit) but it did not allow any changes to few of its value.. So for the time being, I can only stop it from 'overfeeding' the buffer by preventing its backdoor process thru msconfig.. Grrrr..

Moreover, I noticed that many av softwares tend to let some kind of adware running as the background process once it expired..Thus, weird ads (gambling, online dating etc) and renewing notices/warnings etc would keep popping out..not to mention that my computer would run very slow.. Malasnya... But it's ok, Mr Z told me that he had the 'magic cure' to all these problems...he had the Trendmicro remover. It is yet to be used but that was a big relief, i must say.

Just when i thought that everything's gonna turn out ok, the series of the unfortunate events didnt just ended there.. Today, when i wanted to use my PC, i suspected that 'someone' or 'something' had Microsoft XP Antivirus 2010 installed in this old and loyal machine of mine... Owwhh, rasa macam nak nangis...In case anyone havent noticed,

XP Antivirus 2010 is not an antivirus, it IS a TROJAN ROGUE-SPYWARE may spread via trojan.

O my old computer, what have i done unto thee.

p/s: i visited this funny website last night. I wasnt sure if it has any relation with this trojan infection, but im still mourning :((
