Manitoba: Collecting Infos

I didnt update this blog on regular basis (did i?) anymore. I wanted to excuse myself by saying that i was have been very busy lately. But then lazy is another word that i should not forget to mention. bizi lezi bizi lezi.................**ok enough!

Ive never been able to picture myself living abroad as a housewife, with a toddler to look after. Although part of me is looking forward to experience such pleasure for having to stay at home; struggle-hassle-exam-cplus2-research-conference-viva free, the other part of me is suffering and a little bit hesitate to the idea of leaving this motherland for at least another 2,3 years... Uish..karang masin mulutku, kesian mr z..

I dont know, I guess ive found my comfortable zone here. And Im reluctant to leave my old parents behind. Im a mom now, and it was the birth of little aisyah that had rebonded me to my mother, for my father was whom id been very much comfortable to talk and share everything with ..And the rebond had just started two years ago! They're getting older, I have a very bad feeling of leaving them now...

Sad, im not ready.

Ok. enough whining over something that didnt take place yet. Nanti jadi tak bersyukur dan kufur...

So, here's the info (living costs/ expenses etc), in canada (southern part). thanx kak zie and ummihassan etc. (Currency is CAD-Canadian Dollar)

electricity: 200 per month maximum (winter). otherwise, <100
hydro bil: 300 per year
school: <30 per year, and no uniform, no need to buy stationery
renting: 800 - 1000 per month (unfurnished)
monthly bus ticket (student): around 80

Foods
Rice: 8kg around $8, fresh milk $2

Formula milk: Info n/a yet (found enfamil...)

Kesimpulannya..walaupun food prices agak rendah, overall kenala jimat cermat kali nih... house rental+letrik dah CAD1100..ughh~ agak menakutkan
