Maulid Rasul and MSA 20th Annual Conference

The 20th Annual MSA (Muslim Students Association of the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg) Conference 2010 will be held on March 5th,6th & 7th. For more information, please click on the image to be directed to the UMMSA website. The venue is the Engineering Building of the University of Manitoba.

Aint we lucky that this time, that there would be 3 speakers  for the sessions:
1. Sheikh Abdur Raheem Green (London, England)
2. Sheikh Jamal Hammoud (Calgary, Canada)
3. Sheikh Ismael Mukhtar (Winnipeg, Canada)

We are very honored that finally Sheikh Abdur Raheem Green could make it for the day. The long-awaited event was postponed since the last few months due to his father's poor health condition. And it was worth the wait, in addition to his presence, there would be another two honored speakers from Canada as well, Sheikh Jamal Hammoud and Sheikh Ismael Mukhtar. And may Allah gives the best to every one of us.

And as for those who could arrange to come for the day, please join the MSA and other muslim brothers and sisters, since this event would only take place once a year. Childcare will be provided along the session as well as three heavy meals for each day/session :)

Previous name: Anthony Green
POB: Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania.
Father: a colonial administrator in the then extant British Empire.
Mother: A devout Catholic believer
Early educations: Roman Catholic Monastic boarding school, Gilling Castle and then onto Ampleforth College.
