She also knew the shapes, music instruments that I read for her only for one time, "oval", "cone", "curve" in addition to the basic shapes of triangle, circle etc, and "tuba", "clarinet" "xylophone" in addition to "drum", "guitar" etc..And she corrected me that the "alligator" in the TV was actually a "cayman", and the vegetable that I forgot the name- was actually the "snow pea". I guess just like any other moms in the world, sometimes, your kid can really surprised you that you thought for once that she/he is a gifted child or something..hehe :P
At around this age, it seemed that they absorbed more than what we thought was enough for them. Naturally, Aisyah and me were both thrilled with the idea of sending her to school. Anak cik F pun lagi terer, dah tau Alif hingga Ya, siap mengajar "makhraj" yang betul kat Aisyah and Aunty Z nih, kehehe. Comel. So kitorang daftarkan diorang di playschool dekat-dekat sini juga. :)
Teacher: How old is he?
Cik F: 5 months

Sufia: Afia 3 years old.
Teacher: Oh so you are 3 years old.
Aisyah: (Quietly raised two of her fingers) Two

penah baca pasal glenn doman tak, dia ckp budak2 mmg pandai, n ada skills mengira, apa yer term tu, kira sekali pandang dah tau berapa bilangan cuma tak boleh nak sebut dlm perkataan, so tak heran kalo aisyah boleh ckp ada V tu, sebab dorang relate no dgn bilangan bukan dgn angka yg bertulis or perkataan..
it's amazing how intelligent children are, they can absorb as many languages esp. during absorbent period (ni mengikut kajian maria montessori pulak)..
my point is, sebelum 6 tahun ni, ajar semua benda yg possible because the right brain absorb everything and keep it in the sub conscious mind (ni mengikut kajian tweedlewink pulak)..so once dorang besar and they need the knowledge, the mind akan keluarkan balik..bila right n left dah completely bridged (which is masa budak dah petah bercakap, einstein pandai bercakap dgn petah masa umur 9 tahun) masa tu dah jadi susah nak paham n ingat mcm2 benda..rugi dah kan..
so grab the chance to exposed your children to the joy of learning while it lasts..

Yup, i read about Einstein being slow learner, n even slow at talking, and that he was such an observer that people thought he was gonna be slow or something. but never knew he could only talk at 9yrs old. Wow~
Tq sebab bagitau, so it means that i actually need to feed Aisyah's curiosity as much as possible, and as long as she enjoys it. right?

yes zacque, as long benda yg dia nak cuba tu tak merbahaya sampai membunuh, bagi je dia try..or even if bahaya pon, kalo dia tak cuba mana dia tau, like api tu panas, selut tu kotor n melekit, pegang gelas kaca nanti pecah, panjat tinggi2 nanti jatuh..i personally feel that being too cautious boleh supress minat budak2 yg suka explore ni..mmg sgt penat n kdg2 rasa malas nak layan, but then they will only go through childhood once..and we the moms could be the best teachers for them in life..

saya teringat ada satu time masa kat pg room kita ramai2 cerita pasal kawin lepas solat jemaah (ada ke patut bukannya nak berzikir hehe)
kalau tak salah topik tu sampai luahan payahnya la nak cari jodoh
lepas tu spontan awak cakap, "tunggu anak saya boleh tak"
dan sampai skrg saya tak percaya dengan jawapan saya, "nak tunggu lama camtu, dah takde nafsu"
masa tu semua orang terjerit
hehe saya tak sure awak ingat lagi tak dialog2 tu
namun setelah melihat kehenseman ayyan ni, awak redha tak saya tunggu dia haha
