Projek buat buku...
Sebenarnya saya dah lama initiate projek ni, tapi disebabkan kesuntukan masa, project kami dah tertangguh2 almost 6 months. Dah 2 kali nak wat meeting kat kl tapi asik tak sama cuti...

Nama project: "Project Uni" (Tu bukan nama buku...just nama project)
Background: Magazine style book (it's quite a new concept for some in Malaysia)...it's actually book, tapi a little more relaxing dengan more fun stuff and related trivias/infos
Target: Students-> high school students and students in higher educations, esp teenagers/girls
Project members:
1. Zakiah Hanim (MSc in Engin)
2. Diqma (Master in IRK)
3. Hidayah (Master in Law)
4. Hafizah (Master in Economy)
5. Ibah (Master in IT)
Aspiration: My brothers yang sering bertanya "kalau nak amik law/architecture/engine... kena strong dalam subject apa?.. u mana yang bagus?... camner nk dpt scholar? camna nak apply oversea? kalau malas belajar macam saya, kos apa yang sesuai? Kerja apa kalau dah graduate nnti? Gaji ok tak? banayak ke peluang? etc etc....
Method: Questionnaires, standard methodology, SPSS software.
Target to publish: Actually...bulan 11 nih...huhu, tak sempat
Progress: Very slow, we have the layout of the things to do, the questions etc...tapi penatnya, kena jumpa n diskus semua sekali nih
Obstruction: Time (Tak jumpa masa yang sesuai utk bersemuka kelima-lima sekali), we were all bz with our life/projects/thesis/works etc
Bigger obstruction: Distance (semua jauh2)
Biggest obstruction: Moneyyyy!!
Nak bergerak, nak interview orang, nak contact/jumpa publisher, nak publish... semua memerlukan fulus...

Thus, decided that we've to speed up the process before next year, since my husband is due to continue his study in September 2009, Ive applied for the following contest.

Kalau dapat, Alhamdulillah.
Hence, the money would be used to produce our own magazine book that hopefully, would be a useful guidance to the students, especially high school..
The problem is that the contest is judged just like the reality tv fantasia pulak, 50% is based on vote, that's A LOT OF VOTES, which i think is the biggest hurdle.

Kalau tak dapat pun takper, nothing to lose. Project will still go on, but dengan gerak perlahanla nampaknya...
Sorry diqma, sorry ibah, sorry semua...This is the best I could do for us.

Orang lain yang ada dream pun boleh masuk juga tau. Tell me if you do. At least, if I didnt get it, I know I did something else which is as good :) Kalau sudi votelah utk projek kami nih.

Young generation especially the girls need to be well informed and guided in their most important period in university, which has been kept secret as if it was a place only for learning subjects. Many students claimed that they have chosen the wrong courses or universities! Others experience culture shock, unable to adapt the study method or lifestyle, which is totally different from the schools. Some can’t even organize their own wardrobes.
With the help of 4 friends (master degrees in engineering, law, IT, religious studies, and economy, published various articles), we’ve been collecting materials to publish our own magazine style book. Based on valid methodology, questionnaires, we help the students, parents and others, to grab the actual ideas of “university”. Learning should be fun!

p/s: kengkawan lain yang nak share info pasal study kt university, pemilihan kos/uni/ biasiswa...etc, contact any of us. Tidak semestinya di atas sahaja...kalau nak bagitau cara uruskan masa ke experience di uni pun boleh... anything! anything yang berkaitan dengan "life in university"
Amacam aina, your genre is a bit interesting to keep all by yourself, dun u think so?hehe... Anybody care to share?
