Ubah Angin

Ive ran out of idea nak  masak apa untuk last night. Sangat menggemukkan~

So last night we went for western foods. Ehehe..macamla low cholestrol sangat.. Daging grill for him and her.
Salmon with crab stuff for me
And as for Aisyah, ada satu lagi spesel untuknya...
Bukan raspberries tuh, atau diego si bantal busuk tuh, atau tiger peneman sepanjang hari, tapii
Si giant nih... It is huge! Giant! It took almost one third quarter of our living room.. But aint we glad, dia sangat suka! "Rumah Kita" she said.

Maulid Rasul and MSA 20th Annual Conference

The 20th Annual MSA (Muslim Students Association of the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg) Conference 2010 will be held on March 5th,6th & 7th. For more information, please click on the image to be directed to the UMMSA website. The venue is the Engineering Building of the University of Manitoba.

Aint we lucky that this time, that there would be 3 speakers  for the sessions:
1. Sheikh Abdur Raheem Green (London, England)
2. Sheikh Jamal Hammoud (Calgary, Canada)
3. Sheikh Ismael Mukhtar (Winnipeg, Canada)

We are very honored that finally Sheikh Abdur Raheem Green could make it for the day. The long-awaited event was postponed since the last few months due to his father's poor health condition. And it was worth the wait, in addition to his presence, there would be another two honored speakers from Canada as well, Sheikh Jamal Hammoud and Sheikh Ismael Mukhtar. And may Allah gives the best to every one of us.

And as for those who could arrange to come for the day, please join the MSA and other muslim brothers and sisters, since this event would only take place once a year. Childcare will be provided along the session as well as three heavy meals for each day/session :)

Berterus-Terang

Kenapa berbohong?

1. To US Government, Jews dan mereka sendiri ada kaitan tak sebenarnya dengan 911?

2. To Bush n Obama, siapa pemegang tali puppet mereka?

3. To Jews, apa agenda terkini mereka?

4. To Nabi Adam A.S, (huhu~ kata Ustaz Shamsuri, kalau berpeluangla kan?) dinasour dah wujud ker waktu tuh?

5. To Najib Razak, siapa yang bom Altantuya?

6. To Anwar n Mahathir, betul ker Anwar mel*wat?

Saya jumpa sesuatu yang mengejutkan pasal kes Anwar, video ucapan Tun sendiri. Sarcasm ker tuh? Macam tak macam yerr..akalku tak sampai..

*Speechless...
Lady Z tengok pasal politik, macam makan spaghetti cicah budu, tak ngam langsung.

Fire Drill

Dalam rumah pun ada fire alarm, so dah berapa kali benda tuh menjerit2 bila kami buat grill2 or baking2.. So basically, sekarang tiap kali kami grill etc, smoke detector tuh kami balut dengan plastic..huahuahua *evil laugh*.

But then last night at around 9.00 pm, waktu mr z tengah dinner (tu lerr, balik lambat sangat), the fire/ smoke detector for the building beeped a high pitched, loud and continuous ringing sound. And this time, we knew that it didnt come from our house..So he asked the neighbor who looked as puzzled as we were,

"This is certainly not a fire drill, they asked us to evacuate the building immediately"

Aduhh~ so there we go, we grabbed our jacket, put on the boots and me, i grabbed my daughter's bottle of milk and some cereals...sempat lagi tuh :P just in case it would take longer than expected. Aisyah, she thought that we were going out for fun, she was just all happy and insisted for her "diego go" book. Adihh~ Kami turun ke bawah, dah ada orang dalam 20 to 30 people, although i bet mesti ratus sebenarnya penghuni dalam bangunan setinggi 8 tingkat nih.

It wasnt a surprise either that the firemen were already there despite the fact that the alarm had just beeped for around 5 minutes, since chances were that the signal was sent directly to the fire station. Later on, we got to know that there were some fire in an apartment in 3rd floor.

"It seemed that somebody burned the toast" the firemen cracked a joke :P Lol.

We were safely returned to our apartment after 15 to 20 minutes. Nothing fancy - and im certainly not hoping for one :P

The funniest part was that, Aisyah sungguhla bising waktu kumpul ramai-ramai tuh. And when the firemen turned the alarm off, it was a sudden drop dead silence. Haish~

Just how do you make a girl who would sing while brushing her teeth, to stop talking for a while? :P

The Picasso Girl

Aisyah NEVER did any mischievous by writing on the wall or other tempat2 yang tak sepatutnya. Cuba bayangkan besar mana pulak lukisan sebelah kiri tuh.. uwaa~

In many ways, she is just a smaller, much younger version of her mom. I guess after all, the acorn doesn't fall from the tree..
The Picasso kid!

As they say, 'every child is an artist'.Yea, right. I will never forget that now.

Peace of Mind :) Finally

We're after all human, and we mess up sometimes. Being imperfect is just a part of being a human. Previously, if I wasnt feeling so good, I would just sit down, silently, laying my back against the wall. But then lil Aisyah would come running her hands through my hair, releasing my breath, lifting away part of my burdens. With her hand so warm and small, and her voice so sweet and soft, she would pat my shoulder softly and say,

"Mama, nak juice?"

Part 1: She
I smiled. That is just her own way of offering her sympathy. I thank Him for such a great gift that I've never imagined i would ever have. Who would have guessed that such a small child could ease so much pain?

But this time, there were no hands running down my hair anymore..coz the lil sweetheart herself wasnt feeling any better. We were both down with flu.

It was funny to see that in the middle of the cry out of her anticipation against the medicine, in the middle of that screaming and struggling yada yada, she licked a bit and yelled "Sedap, mama!" Oh well, look at her now, she insisted to put the syringe in her mouth and squirt it in herself. :P

The taste wasnt as tasty as she made it looked like, it was more to.. tasteless. But what else matter when the most important thing is that she does not mind taking the medicine.

Part 2: He
Mr Z was laughing while drawing this. I had no idea what that was supposed to be, until he handed me this --> Warning though, the title of the artwork was "Cute Za...", a half-hearted drawing from a husband to his beloved wife
..
..
..

But I guessed it wasnt so cute, in fact, it was really scarrry that Aisyah made it into a ball immediately :P Anyway thanx honey, that was...err, kinda cute though.

Part 3: His Friend
Mr Z told me about this new phd student who had just registered beginning this semester. He thought that she looked really tired so he told her that she could take a rest or maybe just take a leave for the day and go home. Oh well, she explained that she wasnt really tired, she was sad, stressed and sort of missing her family back in her hometown - sound like she is kinda homesick to us. Then Mr Z's other friend told her that since she had just came here to Canada, she might as well wanted to do some shopping. There were some sales going on in Giant Tiger blablabla..

Guess what?

She went for some shopping spree that night, and return to the lab next day with a bigg~g smile. She told them that finally she could be at peace and went back to her usual phd works. Hehe~ Women :)

Mr Z: That's how my wife spent most of my salary - when she got stressed while she was doing her master thesis.
She: So what do you guys do when you got so stressed with your work?
Mr Z: Li...what do you do when you're in stress?
Mr L: Well, i'll play soccer.
Mr Z: How about you Kur..?
Mr K: Me? I sleep!

(Laughed)

Them: How about you, Z?
Mr Z: I read books, all kind of books, any book..

(Silent)

Haha..Told ya, dont ask him :P He's an alien!
======================================

Bottom line?
Women spend more money waktu stress. Men? Costless...
