Beautiful debate on hijab
This is a beautiful debate on hijab, among 3 muslima. Whether it should be niqab, hijab or nothing at all.
I believe it doesnt take Dr. Cal Lightmen from "lie to me", to notice that the woman without hijab was certainly unsure about what she was saying, and even doubt her own statements at some points. In contrast, there was an adorable confidence shown by the woman in niqab. To state the obvious, i would conclude that the woman in niqab certainly knew what she was saying, and was very sure of her path, her lifestyle and her way of life. She chose it and she knew why.
While i was talking to one of my japanese friend in a ta'alim few days ago, a bangladeshi lady happened to hear our conversion and was stunned before she finally asked, "You('re) talking (in) her language (Japanese)?"
She was more than happy to know that i also studied in Japan that she exclaimed,
"Masya-Allah, i noticed that we have soo many talented and brilliant Muslim women here, or even all around the world."
Although being able to converse in Japanese language doesnt make me any special (they, themselves speak 3languages or more), i do agree that despite the saying that women muslim are being oppressed blablabla...we outstand some other women or even men! Many of us excel in various fields that we involve in.
Masya-Allah, these women i've met since we came here to uom have been very humble and nice. I am honored to be able to talk to them, hear their thoughts, and listen to their beautiful words. I am no one compared to them, whom have been working very hard to flourish the ukhwah and spread the words of Allah.
There was one sister who is doing her Post_PhD in UOM, another one is the alima who teaches Alquran to the muslim youths/kids. There was this lady who cook very good food and is willing to share the secret recipes with us all, while many others work very hard without being paid a single dollar, to organize all sort of majlis for the sake of ummah. And there is also this young sister, who returns to the school to finish her 30juz',to continue her passion as a tahfizah. And they are ALL VERY HUMBLE!
Masya-Allah.
May Allah bless them all! Whether or not they will remember me in another 5years ahead, they would always have a special doa right from my heart.
Nih untuk Aisyah :)

Nih untuk Aisyah :)
Fatique
Memang sejak zaman jepun lagi, saya ada sedikit low blood pressure. Tak serius. Just once a while rehat yang cukup, okla.

Kemudian kat sini, lepas buat ujian darah untuk beberapa jenis penyakit dalam 7pain botol berasingan (dah macam ayam, kt mesia satu botol tuh jer kan), predictably the result came back saying that I have very low hemoglobin(109 when the normal hemoglobin rate should be 120 to 140). Doctor called via telephone and asked me to write down the "prescribed supplement" . Dengan confident saya pun jot down ikut Dr cakap:->
S-E-R-R-O-U-S-S S-U-M-A-R-A-P-E!
Kelakarnya! Serrous sumarape! Serious sumarape?! kekeke
And Mr Z went to the pharmacy and later when he handed me the bottles, he said that the pharmacist told him that ubat dengan nama tuh tak wujud kat dunia! Hehe...Tapi nasib baik pharmacist tuh boleh agak.. I looked at the bottle and Ola!
FERROUS FUMARATE!!
Now that make sense...hahaha!
The tablet is to be taken one with meals, coz iron supplement might be too hard on stomach & may cause diarrhea, constapition etc. But later, doctor changed it to 3tablets a day, since im considered anemic and have very low blood pressure .That is 3times than the normal prescription...Duh~
That explain why Ive been very2 weak since i came here to Canada,I tried not to tell him or anyone, coz i was afraid to look weak. But i know this is weird, because traveling far had never been a problem for me!
Sometimes i wasnt able to stand up and needed to sit down once a while, while i was doing the dishes or cooking, my hands and legs trembled sometimes, and worst, whenever i woke up in the morning, my heartbeat raced to the max as if ive just finished a 100m dash. Even waktu first few weeks sampai, i need to eat always or else, i may need to sit still from Asr until iftar, as if the food ive had for sahur tak jadi nutrition. Worst, i cannot think of something serious and more than usual, forgot things easily. I really felt like

obaachan already!
Alhamdulillah!
Now i know what to do, since i know what have been causing these symptoms.
Insya-Allah, with the supplement, I would never feel sooo tired anymore. The most important thing is not my health, but someone inside me, n beside me. I believe, sometimes, suri rumah mana sekalipun di dunia, once a while kita broke down juga sebab penat. Dan bila kita rasa penat tapi takder tempat mengadu, kita nangis jer sorang2...pelik sangat ke benda tuh?

Main Masak - masak
Hmm...acara memanggil lemak!
Sejak masuk rumah, acara makan2 ni kadang2 sampai 3,4 kali seminggu:) Alhamdulillah, orang berbudi kita berbahasa. Kalau ada rezeki lebih, kita pulak yang memberi... apa punya peribahasa laa...
Hari Mee Goreng Sedunia
2hari lepas, cik F hantar mee goreng. Saya yang tadak idea nak masak nih terus tiru idea tuh n masak mee kuning. So hari tuh makan mi tidur mi tengok mi breakpes mi mimpi mi dun forget mi
Hari Bubur Sedunia
The next day, rasa nk makan bubur, tapi takut tak kenyang, masak 2 jenis bubur sekaligus - bubur nasi n bubur kacang hijau. Memang dasar tamak. So siap dua bubur terus panggil cik F datang makan kt rumah. Bubur nasi cik F lain, so saja lah nk kasi cik F rasa bubur nasi yang makan ala2 bubur nasi setapak nih (yer la tuh)...satu benda yang saya realise, aisyah suka bubur kacang nih.. "bobo", dia cakap.
Hari Desert Sedunia
Hari desert sedunia nih 2 hari selepas hari bubur sedunia, sebab hari keesokannya, Mr Z dah komplen nak makan nasi...kekeke. Dah nama Melayu kan, mesti lerr nk makan nasi jugak at least, baru kenyang.

Atas tuh untuk Mr Z dengan harapan dia makin menyanyangi... menyayagi.. menyayangi isterinya ini.Huh, lama sangat kawin so dh tak romantik, nk sebut me-nya-ya-ngi pun tersasul.
So hari desert sedunia nih sebenarnya kitorang masak:-->

Ahaha...gambar memang kurang profesional, tapi sedap sebenarnya puding karamel cik F. Yang saya paling kagum ialah cara cik F buat sangat2 la senang (or at least it looks like that)...tapi tu la, belum try sendiri, just buat di bawah pengajaran sifu, dan dengan sifu, so memang la rasa senang.
Cik F buat kuetiau goreng for brunch.
N ada lagi..kitorang buat...taraaaa...

cendol!!
p/s: tp tuh gambar ceduk internet...gambar cendul sendiri lupa amik :P Sebabnya 1st time buat, mentah...air tak cukup. Second time buat, ngap terus dlm mulut.
Seterusnya menu haritu dh macam rumah terbuka. Cik F buat sausage roll, n saya beli sushi juga. malam tuh Satoka join us... Sangatla meriah, macam majlis makan2.

Hasilnya? 5 biji perut kecil yang hepi dan kenyang!!

Tuh gambar anak...gambar mak2 pulak..err, sapa nak amik ya?

p/p/s: huh. Pengajaran dari 2 gambar ini --> jangan bagi anak anda yang sedang sibuk nk main amik gambar...abis blur..hehe. Siap potong2 pulak tuh..
Balik rumah, diam2 Aisyah n papa songlap chocolate mama. Tarik nafas panjang mama, bila 15cups tuh tinggal 5 sahaja -->

The ABC's of getting fat
Mr Z told me that it is extremely easy for a woman to get fat on second pregnancy. Betul ker? Though I somehow believe that he was pulling my leg, nevertheless, I still agree to the idea of women are prone to put on more weight on 2nd pregnancy, for some simple reasons...as simple as ABC
At the morning,
Before I even speak,
Cans of juices, and
Dozens of sweets,
Everything I can have from the small fridge,
For the morning sickness to stop and freeze.

God knows I yearn for something weird or at least sour,
Hot and spicy, is yet his request for dinner or supper,
I must not forget that my little one can eat neither,
Juicy or "soup"y is the dish I must serve for her.
Keeping my sanity is much easier than keeping the calories down,
Low fat foods arent half as tasty as the commercials may sound,
My oh my, should I start dieting?
Nope, dont think so, coz the baby inside want me to continue eating :P
Oh God, give me back the so-called-ideal BMI again,
Pleaze shed all the unnecessary fat n prenatal weight gain,
Quick body re-contour is indeed not hard to do,
Reshape it with money, b4 the "f" word turn you into a shrew :P
So, you heard what Ive said,
True indeed,
U must also read what is not yet being said,
Vanity isnt in physical it's in ur personality,
What you do with your brain to keep your dignity,
Xtra pounds is just excessive accessories outside your case,
You are what you do, defined by your faith,
Zealously love and be loved, then there's nothing to be disgraced.

Sushi Craving
I craved for anything "fishy" (ber"ikan" :P) and pekasam during my first pregnancy. I had to make sure that pekasam was included in my daily menu. So much so. But this time, I cant help but yearn to eat this, everyday-->

This is the type of sushi that I love - you could feel as if the salmon melted immediately as soon as you put them in your mouth..Hmmm..."torokeru". They costed around $21...quite expensive compared to the one that I had with Cik F at "Mooshiro" last time. Mooshiro was all-that-you-can-eat sushi bar, sort of "tabehodai", a place where you can eat fresh n delizouss sushi from their available selection.
Im not kidding- there was more than hundred types of sushi, sashimi etc to choose from :) Oh my.. You'll lose your breath before you could finally decide on which to order first.

See what I mean?
Okey, so the menu starts from 1201..That would be..mmm, around 130 menus to choose from! They have vege okonomiyaki, udon, kimchi ramen, misoshiro etc, unajyu, chirashi, few types of tempura, agedashi toufu and sashimis! All that for only $25+- including tax (12%).And if that wasnt enough, the ice creams were also for free...
Pics? "No way lah, im not gonna be so childish to pose awkwardly in front of my foods!"
ehehe..Just kidding, I forgot to bring my phone/ camera - again! Next time Insya-Allah (itupun kalau tak lupa lagi)
